Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the role of agricultural education in promoting sustainable beekeeping practices. Beekeeping plays a crucial role in pollination, biodiversity conservation, and honey production. However, unsustainable beekeeping practices can have detrimental effects on bee populations and ecosystem health. This study will examine the current state of beekeeping practices and the level of knowledge and awareness among beekeepers regarding sustainable practices. By analyzing existing literature, conducting field surveys, and interviewing beekeepers and agricultural educators, this research will provide insights into the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in promoting sustainable beekeeping. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of educational strategies and policies to enhance sustainable beekeeping practices and support the conservation of pollinators.
