Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the role of agricultural education in promoting gender equality in farming. Gender inequality remains a significant challenge in the agricultural sector, with women often facing limited access to resources, decision-making power, and opportunities for growth. Agricultural education has the potential to address these gender disparities by providing women with the necessary knowledge, skills, and support to actively participate in farming activities. This study will examine the current state of gender equality in agriculture, explore the strategies employed by agricultural education programs to promote gender equality, and assess the effectiveness of these initiatives. By conducting surveys, interviews, and analyzing existing literature, this research will contribute to a better understanding of the role of agricultural education in empowering women in farming and provide recommendations for enhancing gender equality in the agricultural sector
