Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to investigate the role of agricultural education in promoting entrepreneurship in rural areas. Entrepreneurship plays a crucial role in rural development by creating employment opportunities, fostering innovation, and driving economic growth. Agricultural education can equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to start and manage successful agricultural businesses. However, the extent to which agricultural education contributes to entrepreneurship in rural areas remains unclear. This study will examine the various dimensions of entrepreneurship influenced by agricultural education, including business development, access to finance, and market linkages. By analyzing existing literature, conducting surveys, and interviewing key stakeholders, this research will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in promoting entrepreneurship in rural communities. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on agricultural education and inform policymakers and educators on strategies to enhance the role of agricultural education in fostering entrepreneurship in rural areas.
