Exploring the importance of agricultural education in promoting agroecology

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to explore the importance of agricultural education in promoting agroecology. Agroecology is an approach to farming that emphasizes the integration of ecological principles and social values to create sustainable and resilient agricultural systems. Agricultural education plays a crucial role in disseminating knowledge and practices related to agroecology among farmers, students, and other stakeholders. This study will examine the current state of agricultural education in relation to agroecology, including the curriculum, teaching methods, and resources available. By analyzing case studies, conducting interviews, and reviewing existing literature, this research will provide insights into the effectiveness of agricultural education in promoting agroecological practices. The findings of this study will contribute to the understanding of the role of agricultural education in fostering sustainable farming systems and inform strategies to enhance agroecology education
