Assessing the effectiveness of agricultural education in addressing food security challenges

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the effectiveness of agricultural education in addressing food security challenges. Food security is a pressing global issue, and agricultural education plays a crucial role in equipping farmers with the knowledge and skills to enhance agricultural productivity and ensure a sustainable food supply. However, the extent to which agricultural education programs effectively contribute to addressing food security remains unclear. This study will evaluate the impact of agricultural education on key dimensions of food security, including availability, access, utilization, and stability. By analyzing existing literature, conducting surveys, and interviewing key stakeholders, this research will provide valuable insights into the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in addressing food security challenges. The findings of this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge on agricultural education and inform policymakers and educators on strategies to enhance the role of agricultural education in achieving food security.
