Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to analyze the impact of agricultural education on farmers' adoption of sustainable irrigation techniques. Irrigation plays a critical role in ensuring agricultural productivity and food security. However, conventional irrigation practices often lead to water wastage and environmental degradation. Agricultural education can play a vital role in promoting the adoption of sustainable irrigation techniques that conserve water and minimize negative environmental impacts. This study will examine the effectiveness of agricultural education programs in influencing farmers' knowledge, attitudes, and practices related to sustainable irrigation. By conducting surveys, interviews, and field observations, this research will provide valuable insights into the factors that facilitate or hinder the adoption of sustainable irrigation techniques. The findings of this study will contribute to the development of targeted educational interventions and policy recommendations to enhance the adoption of sustainable irrigation practices among farmers.
