Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the impact of agricultural extension on the adoption of agro-processing technologies among farmers. Agro-processing technologies play a crucial role in adding value to agricultural products, reducing post-harvest losses, and enhancing income generation opportunities for farmers. However, the adoption of these technologies may vary among farmers due to various factors. This study will employ surveys, interviews, and field observations to gather data from farmers who have received agricultural extension services, evaluate the extent of their adoption of agro-processing technologies, identify barriers and facilitators to adoption, and provide recommendations for enhancing extension services in promoting the adoption of agro-processing technologies.
