Evaluating the effectiveness of mobile-based agricultural extension services

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to evaluate the effectiveness of mobile-based agricultural extension services in delivering information and knowledge to farmers. With the widespread use of mobile phones, mobile-based extension services have emerged as a promising approach to reach farmers with timely and relevant agricultural information. This study will assess the impact of mobile-based extension services on farmers' knowledge, adoption of agricultural practices, and overall agricultural productivity. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and field observations to gather data from farmers who have utilized mobile-based extension services. The findings will provide insights into the effectiveness of this technology-driven approach and inform strategies for improving mobile-based agricultural extension services.
