This research project aims to assess the weight gain differences between indigenous and exotic breeds of broiler chickens. The study will involve a comparative analysis of weight gain patterns in these two types of broilers over a specified period. Indigenous breeds are known for their adaptability to local conditions, while exotic breeds are renowned for their rapid growth rates and high feed conversion efficiency. By evaluating the weight gain performance of both types of broilers under similar environmental and management conditions, this research seeks to provide valuable insights into the growth potential and efficiency of these breeds. The data collected will be analyzed using statistical methods to determine any significant differences in weight gain between indigenous and exotic broilers. The findings of this study are expected to contribute to the existing knowledge on broiler production systems and assist poultry farmers and breeders in making informed decisions regarding breed selection for optimal growth and profitability.
