Assessing the knowledge and perception of farmers towards organic farming practices

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the knowledge and perception of farmers towards organic farming practices. Organic farming is gaining popularity as a sustainable and environmentally friendly approach to agriculture. However, the successful adoption of organic farming practices depends on farmers' understanding and perception of its benefits, challenges, and techniques. This study will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and interviews, to gather data from a sample of farmers. The findings will provide insights into the current level of knowledge and perception of farmers towards organic farming practices, identify gaps and misconceptions, and inform strategies for promoting organic agriculture.
