The integration of mobile technology in agricultural extension services has the potential to revolutionize knowledge transfer processes and enhance agricultural productivity. This research project aims to assess the impact of mobile technology in improving knowledge transfer within agricultural extension services. The study will investigate the effectiveness of mobile technology tools, such as mobile applications, SMS services, and voice calls, in disseminating agricultural information to farmers. By examining the adoption and utilization of mobile technology among farmers and extension workers, the research seeks to identify key factors that influence the success of mobile-based knowledge transfer initiatives. The research will be guided by a comprehensive literature review that explores existing studies on the use of mobile technology in agricultural extension services. The review will highlight the benefits, challenges, and best practices associated with mobile technology adoption in the agricultural sector. Drawing on theoretical frameworks such as the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Innovation Diffusion Theory, the study will develop a conceptual framework to guide the investigation of mobile technology impact on knowledge transfer in agricultural extension services. Methodologically, the research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions will be conducted with farmers, extension workers, and agricultural stakeholders to gather insights on their experiences with mobile technology in knowledge transfer. Data analysis will involve both descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to examine the relationships between mobile technology usage, knowledge transfer outcomes, and agricultural productivity. The findings of this study are expected to provide valuable insights into the role of mobile technology in enhancing knowledge transfer processes in agricultural extension services.
