Assessing the effectiveness of farmer-to-farmer extension approaches

Thesis Abstract

This research project aims to assess the effectiveness of farmer-to-farmer extension approaches in promoting knowledge sharing and adoption of agricultural practices among farmers. Farmer-to-farmer extension approaches involve the facilitation of knowledge exchange and learning between farmers themselves, leveraging their expertise and experiences. This study will evaluate the impact of farmer-to-farmer extension approaches on farmers' knowledge acquisition, adoption of agricultural practices, and overall agricultural productivity. The research will employ a combination of surveys, interviews, and field observations to gather data from farmers who have participated in farmer-to-farmer extension programs. The findings will contribute to understanding the effectiveness of farmer-to-farmer extension approaches and provide recommendations for enhancing knowledge sharing and collaboration among farmers.
