This research project aims to analyze the adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices through extension services. Climate change poses significant challenges to agricultural productivity and sustainability. Climate-smart agricultural practices offer potential solutions by promoting resilience, adaptation, and mitigation strategies. However, the adoption of these practices among farmers is influenced by various factors. This study will investigate the role of agricultural extension services in facilitating the adoption of climate-smart practices, identify barriers and enablers, and assess the effectiveness of extension approaches. The research will employ a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys, interviews, and field observations to gather data from farmers and extension service providers. The findings will contribute to understanding the dynamics of climate-smart agriculture adoption and inform strategies for enhancing extension services to promote sustainable farming in the face of climate change.
