Thesis Abstract
Abstract
This research project focuses on the construction of a borehole within the Agricultural and Bio-environmental Engineering Department. The borehole aims to provide a sustainable water source for various activities within the department, including irrigation, research experiments, and general water needs. The construction process involves drilling, casing, and developing the borehole to ensure a reliable supply of clean water. Additionally, the project includes the installation of a pumping system and water storage facilities to efficiently utilize the water from the borehole. The implementation of this borehole will contribute significantly to the department's self-sufficiency in water supply, reducing reliance on external sources and enhancing operational efficiency. Furthermore, the project aligns with sustainable practices by utilizing groundwater resources effectively and promoting water conservation within the department. Overall, the construction of the borehole in the Agricultural and Bio-environmental Engineering Department represents a practical and beneficial initiative towards enhancing water availability and management for agricultural and research activities.
