Thesis Abstract

This project aims to explore the role of adult education in promoting sustainable tourism. Sustainable tourism is an approach that seeks to minimize the negative impacts of tourism on the environment, culture, and local communities, while maximizing the positive economic and social benefits. Adult education plays a crucial role in raising awareness, providing training, and fostering responsible tourism practices among tourists, local communities, and tourism industry stakeholders. This project will examine the various strategies and initiatives employed in adult education programs to promote sustainable tourism, as well as their effectiveness in achieving sustainable tourism goals. The findings of this project will contribute to the existing knowledge on the role of adult education in sustainable tourism and provide recommendations for future practices.
