SUMMARY, CONCLUSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Financial literacy and personal finance skills are increasingly important for adults to effectively manage their money, plan for the future, and make sound financial decisions. However, many adults lack foundational knowledge in areas like budgeting, saving, credit, debt, taxes, retirement and more. This project aims to improve existing financial literacy programs offered in the community by developing new curriculum resources, workshops and training opportunities. A needs assessment will be conducted to identify gaps and priorities for program enhancement. Updated materials will incorporate practical tools and real-world examples. Workshops will provide hands-on learning experiences. Partnerships with local organizations will help promote and expand program reach. The goal is to empower adults with the financial skills and confidence to better navigate everyday financial tasks and challenges. Outcomes will be evaluated through participant feedback and surveys to ensure programs are meeting community needs. With enhanced financial education, adults will be equipped to make informed choices for financial well-being and stability.
