Climate change has become a significant global issue with far-reaching impacts on various ecosystems and wildlife populations. In North America, bird migration patterns are particularly vulnerable to the changing climate, as birds rely on environmental cues for their seasonal movements. This thesis investigates the effects of climate change on bird migration patterns in North America, aiming to understand how rising temperatures, altered precipitation patterns, and changing habitats are influencing bird behavior and distribution. The study begins with a comprehensive literature review to examine existing research on bird migration, climate change impacts, and relevant ecological theories. By synthesizing previous studies, this thesis establishes a strong theoretical foundation for understanding the complex interactions between climate change and bird migration patterns. Methodologically, this research employs a combination of field observations, satellite tracking data analysis, and statistical modeling to investigate the specific impacts of climate change on bird migration in North America.
