Through a comprehensive literature review and empirical research, this study aims to provide valuable insights into the epidemiology of zoonotic diseases in companion animals, contributing to the development of effective prevention and control strategies. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, highlighting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review encompassing ten key aspects related to zoonotic diseases in companion animals, synthesizing existing knowledge and identifying gaps in the literature. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology, including the study design, sampling methods, data collection procedures, and statistical analysis techniques.
