The gastrointestinal health of dogs is of utmost importance for their overall well-being. Gastrointestinal issues, such as diarrhea and vomiting, are common in dogs and can significantly impact their quality of life. Probiotics have been increasingly recognized for their potential in promoting gastrointestinal health by restoring the balance of gut microbiota. This research project aims to investigate the efficacy of probiotics in preventing gastrointestinal issues in dogs. The study will involve a comprehensive review of existing literature on probiotics and their impact on gastrointestinal health in dogs. Ten key studies will be analyzed to provide a thorough understanding of the current knowledge in this field. The research methodology will include a randomized controlled trial involving a sample of dogs with a history of gastrointestinal issues. The methodology will outline the selection criteria for the study participants, the probiotic intervention protocol, and the monitoring of gastrointestinal health outcomes. Data collection will involve regular assessments of gastrointestinal symptoms, stool consistency, and gut microbiota composition. Statistical analysis will be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of probiotics in preventing gastrointestinal issues in dogs.
