Osteoarthritis (OA) is a common degenerative joint disease affecting dogs, leading to pain, stiffness, and decreased mobility. Current treatment options for canine OA are limited and often focus on managing symptoms rather than addressing the underlying cause. This research project aims to explore the potential use of stem cell therapy as a novel and promising treatment modality for canine OA. Stem cell therapy offers a regenerative approach by harnessing the regenerative potential of stem cells to repair and regenerate damaged joint tissues, thereby addressing the root cause of OA.
