Traditional treatment options often provide limited relief and may have adverse effects. Stem cell therapy has emerged as a promising alternative for managing osteoarthritis by promoting tissue repair and reducing inflammation. This thesis explores the use of stem cell therapy in the treatment of osteoarthritis in dogs. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the study, including background information on osteoarthritis in dogs, the problem statement, research objectives, study limitations, scope, significance, and the overall structure of the thesis. Definitions of key terms related to the topic are also presented.
