Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease affecting dogs worldwide, leading to pain, reduced mobility, and decreased quality of life. Traditional treatments for osteoarthritis in dogs often provide temporary relief, highlighting the need for innovative and more effective therapies. Stem cell therapy has emerged as a promising avenue for treating osteoarthritis, offering the potential for tissue regeneration and long-term improvement in joint function. This thesis aims to explore the efficacy of stem cell therapy in treating osteoarthritis in dogs. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, covering ten key aspects related to osteoarthritis in dogs, stem cell therapy, and previous research findings in this field.
