Osteoarthritis is a common degenerative joint disease in canines, causing pain and reduced mobility. Nutrition plays a significant role in managing osteoarthritis in dogs, yet there is a lack of comprehensive studies addressing this relationship. This study aims to investigate the impact of nutrition on the management of osteoarthritis in canines. The research begins with a thorough literature review to explore existing knowledge on the topic. Ten key areas are identified, including the role of specific nutrients, dietary supplements, and feeding practices in osteoarthritis management in dogs. The methodology section outlines the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed in the study. It includes details on sample selection, dietary interventions, assessment tools, and statistical analyses used to evaluate the outcomes. Findings from the study are discussed in Chapter Four, highlighting the effects of nutrition on canine osteoarthritis management. Results are presented in detail, discussing changes in clinical symptoms, joint function, and overall quality of life in dogs following specific nutritional interventions. In conclusion, this thesis provides valuable insights into the impact of nutrition on the management of osteoarthritis in canines.
