The health of soil in agricultural lands is crucial for sustainable crop production and environmental conservation. This study aimed to assess soil health and nutrient availability in agricultural land using spectroscopic techniques. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the research topic, background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter 2 presents a comprehensive literature review covering ten key aspects related to soil health assessment and spectroscopic techniques. Chapter 3 outlines the research methodology, including sample collection, spectroscopic analysis methods, data interpretation techniques, statistical analysis, and quality control measures. Chapter 4 discusses the findings of the study in detail, focusing on the relationships between spectroscopic measurements and soil health indicators. Results indicate the potential of spectroscopic techniques in assessing soil health parameters such as organic matter content, nutrient levels, and microbial activity. Chapter 5 concludes the thesis by summarizing the key findings, discussing their implications for agricultural practices, and suggesting future research directions.
