Abstract
This research project delves into the problems and prospects faced by married female office managers in business organizations, with a specific focus on a case study of First Bank Plc. The study aims to explore the challenges that married female office managers encounter in balancing their work responsibilities with their family obligations. Additionally, the research seeks to identify the potential opportunities and prospects available to married female office managers in advancing their careers within the organization. The research methodology employed in this study includes both qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data was collected through interviews, surveys, and observations conducted among married female office managers at First Bank Plc. The findings reveal a range of issues faced by married female office managers, including work-life balance challenges, gender discrimination, limited career advancement opportunities, and societal expectations regarding their dual roles as professionals and homemakers. Despite the challenges identified, the research also highlights several prospects for married female office managers in business organizations.
