This study investigates the comparative effectiveness of these two paradigms, addressing the increasing reliance on digital technologies and remote work arrangements within organizational contexts. The primary aim is to evaluate how virtual secretarial practices influence communication efficiency, clarity, timeliness, and stakeholder engagement relative to conventional face-to-face secretarial methods. Specific objectives include assessing communication quality, identifying the facilitating or hindering factors in each practice, and proposing strategies to enhance communication efficacy in both settings. Employing a cross-sectional, descriptive survey design, the research examined a population of 350 secretaries and administrative professionals across diverse organizational sectors in a metropolitan region. A stratified random sampling method was utilized to select a representative sample of 200 participants, ensuring inclusion of those engaged predominantly in either virtual or traditional secretarial roles. The application of the Media Richness Theory and Structuration Theory provides a theoretical foundation for understanding how communication channels influence message transmission and organizational coherence. Policy implications include guiding organizations in optimizing secretarial communication strategies, investing in technological training, and fostering adaptive communication environments suited to evolving workplace configurations. Based on the findings, the study recommends targeted training programs aimed at enhancing technological literacy among secretaries, the implementation of standardized communication protocols for virtual practices, and organizational policies that foster seamless integration of traditional and virtual secretarial functions. Future research could explore longitudinal effects and the impact of emerging digital communication tools, as well as industry-specific variations. Overall, this study substantiates that adaptive, well-supported virtual secretarial practices can sustain organizational communication effectiveness, provided that strategic interventions are adopted to address identified challenges.
