Thesis Abstract

Abstract
The utilization of metallic nanoparticles in various industrial processes has gained significant attention due to their unique properties and potential applications. Green synthesis methods using plant extracts have emerged as an eco-friendly and cost-effective approach for the production of metallic nanoparticles. This research project aims to investigate the green synthesis of metallic nanoparticles using plant extracts and evaluate their catalytic applications in industrial processes. The study begins with a comprehensive review of the literature on the synthesis of metallic nanoparticles, highlighting the advantages of green synthesis methods and the potential of plant extracts as reducing and stabilizing agents. The review also covers the catalytic properties of metallic nanoparticles and their applications in various industrial processes. The research methodology involves the collection of plant samples, extraction of bioactive compounds, and synthesis of metallic nanoparticles using a green synthesis approach. Characterization techniques such as UV-Vis spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, and transmission electron microscopy will be employed to analyze the physicochemical properties of the synthesized nanoparticles. The findings of the study will be discussed in detail, focusing on the synthesis process, characterization results, and catalytic activities of the metallic nanoparticles. The catalytic applications of the nanoparticles in industrial processes such as wastewater treatment, chemical synthesis, and energy conversion will be evaluated to determine their effectiveness and potential for commercialization. In conclusion, this research project aims to contribute to the growing field of green nanotechnology by exploring the potential of plant extract-mediated synthesis of metallic nanoparticles for catalytic applications in industrial processes. The results of this study will provide valuable insights into the development of sustainable and environmentally friendly nanomaterials with practical applications in various industries.
