Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) plays a crucial role in the success of manufacturing companies by optimizing supplier interactions and enhancing supply chain efficiency. This thesis investigates the implementation of SRM strategies to achieve cost reduction in a manufacturing company. The study aims to explore how effective SRM practices can lead to improved cost management and competitive advantage in the manufacturing sector. The research methodology employed a mixed-method approach, combining qualitative interviews with key stakeholders and quantitative data analysis to evaluate the impact of SRM on cost reduction. Through a comprehensive literature review, ten key areas related to SRM and cost reduction were identified and analyzed in detail. The findings reveal that implementing robust SRM practices, such as supplier segmentation, performance measurement, and collaboration, can significantly reduce costs and improve operational efficiency in a manufacturing company.
