Thesis Abstract

Abstract
This thesis investigates the impact of various exercise intensities on cardiovascular health markers in sedentary individuals. Sedentary lifestyles have been associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular diseases, making it crucial to understand the effects of different exercise intensities on cardiovascular health in this population. The study aims to provide valuable insights into the optimal exercise intensity required to improve cardiovascular health in sedentary individuals. The research methodology involved a randomized controlled trial with sedentary individuals divided into three groups based on exercise intensity levels low-intensity, moderate-intensity, and high-intensity exercise. Cardiovascular health markers such as blood pressure, heart rate, cholesterol levels, and aerobic fitness were monitored before and after the exercise intervention. Data analysis was conducted using statistical methods to evaluate the effects of different exercise intensities on cardiovascular health markers. The literature review highlighted the existing knowledge on the relationship between exercise intensity and cardiovascular health, emphasizing the importance of regular physical activity in preventing cardiovascular diseases. Various studies have shown that higher exercise intensities are associated with greater improvements in cardiovascular health markers. However, the optimal exercise intensity for sedentary individuals remains unclear, necessitating further research in this area. The results of the study indicated that all three exercise intensity levels led to improvements in cardiovascular health markers compared to the sedentary control group. The high-intensity exercise group showed the most significant improvements in aerobic fitness and cholesterol levels, while the moderate-intensity group demonstrated improvements in blood pressure and heart rate. The low-intensity group also showed positive changes in cardiovascular health markers, albeit to a lesser extent. In conclusion, this thesis provides valuable insights into the effects of different exercise intensities on cardiovascular health markers in sedentary individuals. The findings suggest that engaging in regular physical activity, regardless of intensity, can lead to improvements in cardiovascular health. However, higher exercise intensities may offer additional benefits in enhancing cardiovascular fitness and reducing the risk of cardiovascular diseases. Further research is recommended to explore the long-term effects of different exercise intensities on cardiovascular health in sedentary individuals. Keywords exercise intensity, cardiovascular health, sedentary individuals, aerobic fitness, blood pressure, cholesterol levels.
