This thesis explores the utilization of telemedicine for pediatric care in rural areas, aiming to assess its effectiveness, challenges, and implications. The research methodology involved a comprehensive literature review, qualitative interviews with healthcare providers and caregivers, as well as analysis of telemedicine usage data. Chapter One provides an introduction to the topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of terms. Chapter Two presents a detailed literature review covering ten key aspects related to telemedicine in pediatric care, including its history, benefits, challenges, regulatory considerations, and ethical concerns. Chapter Three delves into the research methodology, outlining the study design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, ethical considerations, and limitations.
