This research aims to investigate the impact of VR therapy on pain management in pediatric patients. Pain management in children is a critical aspect of healthcare, as it not only affects the physical well-being but also the emotional and psychological development of the child. Traditional pain management techniques, such as pharmacological interventions, have limitations and potential side effects, making alternative approaches like VR therapy increasingly appealing. This study will explore the effectiveness of VR therapy in reducing pain perception and improving overall patient experience in pediatric settings. Through a comprehensive literature review, the existing evidence on the use of VR therapy in pain management, particularly in pediatric populations, will be examined. The review will cover various aspects, including the theoretical framework of VR therapy, its mechanisms of action, and previous research findings supporting its efficacy in pain management.
