This thesis explores the implementation of telemedicine in pediatric care and its impact on patient outcomes and healthcare access. The study investigates how telemedicine is being used in pediatric settings, the challenges and limitations associated with its implementation, and the potential benefits it offers for patients and healthcare providers. The research begins with an exploration of the background of telemedicine in pediatric care, highlighting the growing importance of technology in healthcare delivery. The problem statement identifies the gaps in current pediatric care practices and the need for innovative solutions to improve access to care for pediatric patients. The objectives of the study are to assess the effectiveness of telemedicine in pediatric care, identify the barriers to its implementation, and evaluate its impact on patient outcomes and healthcare access. Through a comprehensive literature review, this thesis examines existing research on telemedicine in pediatric care, covering topics such as the use of telehealth technologies, the benefits and challenges of telemedicine, and the impact of telemedicine on patient outcomes.
