Access to healthcare services in rural areas has long been a significant challenge, with limited resources and healthcare facilities often leading to disparities in healthcare outcomes. Telehealth, the use of technology to deliver healthcare services remotely, has emerged as a promising solution to bridge the gap in access to healthcare for rural populations. This research study aims to explore the role of telehealth in improving access to healthcare services for rural populations, with a focus on its impact on health outcomes, patient satisfaction, and healthcare delivery efficiency. The study will begin with a comprehensive review of the literature, examining existing research on telehealth initiatives in rural areas and their effectiveness in improving access to healthcare services. The review will also explore the challenges and barriers to implementing telehealth in rural settings, as well as the potential benefits and limitations of telehealth interventions. Following the literature review, the research methodology will be outlined, detailing the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques employed in the study. The methodology will include a description of the study population, sampling procedures, and data collection tools used to gather information on the impact of telehealth on healthcare access in rural areas.
