Telehealth services have emerged as a valuable tool in improving healthcare access and delivery, particularly in rural communities facing challenges related to geographical barriers and limited healthcare resources. This thesis aims to explore the impact of telehealth services on patient care outcomes in rural communities. Through a comprehensive literature review, this study examines how telehealth interventions have been utilized in various healthcare settings to enhance patient care, improve health outcomes, and address disparities in access to healthcare services. Additionally, the research methodology section outlines the approach used to investigate the effectiveness of telehealth services in rural communities, including data collection methods and analysis techniques. Findings from this study suggest that telehealth services have the potential to significantly improve patient care outcomes in rural areas by increasing access to healthcare services, reducing travel time and costs for patients, and facilitating timely communication between patients and healthcare providers. Furthermore, the discussion of findings highlights the key factors influencing the successful implementation of telehealth services in rural communities, such as infrastructure, technology adoption, provider training, and patient acceptance.
