However, there is a need to assess the specific effects of telemedicine on patient satisfaction and health outcomes in the context of home-based care. The study is guided by the following objectives to explore the background and rationale for using telemedicine in home healthcare settings, to identify the key challenges and limitations associated with telemedicine adoption, to investigate the impact of telemedicine on patient satisfaction, to assess the influence of telemedicine on health outcomes, and to determine the significance of telemedicine in improving overall healthcare delivery. A comprehensive literature review was conducted to examine existing research on telemedicine in home healthcare, patient satisfaction, and health outcomes.
