This thesis explores the effectiveness of telehealth services in managing chronic conditions among elderly patients. The aging population worldwide is experiencing an increase in chronic health conditions, leading to a higher demand for healthcare services. Telehealth, defined as the delivery of healthcare services remotely using technology, has emerged as a potential solution to improve access to care for elderly individuals with chronic conditions. The objective of this study is to investigate the impact of telehealth services on the management of chronic conditions in the elderly population. The literature review in this thesis provides a comprehensive analysis of existing studies on telehealth services and chronic disease management among the elderly. The review highlights the benefits and challenges associated with telehealth interventions, including improved access to care, enhanced patient outcomes, and potential barriers such as technology literacy and privacy concerns. The research methodology section outlines the design of a mixed-methods study to examine the effectiveness of telehealth services in managing chronic conditions among elderly patients. The study will involve quantitative analysis of patient health outcomes and qualitative assessment of patient experiences with telehealth services. Data collection methods will include surveys, interviews, and medical records review. The findings of this study will be discussed in detail in the results chapter, focusing on the impact of telehealth services on the management of chronic conditions among elderly patients.
