This study delves into the realm of telehealth and its impact on chronic disease management among older adults through a systematic review. The aging population, coupled with the rising prevalence of chronic diseases, poses significant challenges to healthcare systems globally. Telehealth, defined as the delivery of healthcare services remotely using telecommunications technology, has emerged as a promising solution to address these challenges. This research aims to critically examine the effectiveness of telehealth interventions in managing chronic diseases in older adults, focusing on key outcomes such as patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and healthcare utilization. Chapter One provides the groundwork for the study, including an introduction to the topic, background information, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents a comprehensive literature review, exploring ten key studies that investigate the impact of telehealth on chronic disease management in older adults. The review synthesizes current evidence, identifies gaps in the literature, and highlights trends and challenges in the field.
