The demand for energy-efficient heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings has been on the rise due to the increasing awareness of sustainability and the need to reduce energy consumption. This thesis presents a comprehensive study on the design and analysis of an energy-efficient HVAC system for buildings. The primary objective of this research is to develop a system that optimizes energy usage while maintaining indoor comfort levels. Chapter One provides the introduction to the research topic, including the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms. Chapter Two presents an extensive literature review covering ten key areas related to energy-efficient HVAC systems, including current trends, technologies, design considerations, and case studies. Chapter Three outlines the research methodology adopted in this study, including the selection of research design, data collection methods, analysis techniques, and validation procedures.
