Abstract
This study aims to provide an in-depth appraisal of the activities and management methods of the Anambra Manufacturing Company (ANAMMCO) Workers Multi-purpose Co-operative Society in Enugu, Nigeria. The research explores the various activities carried out by the cooperative society and evaluates the effectiveness of its management methods in achieving its objectives. The study utilizes a mixed-methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. Through surveys, interviews, and document analysis, the research examines the organizational structure of the cooperative society, the range of services it provides to its members, and the financial management practices in place. Additionally, the study investigates the level of member participation in decision-making processes and the extent of their satisfaction with the services offered by the cooperative society. The findings of the research highlight the diverse activities of the Anammco Workers Multi-purpose Co-operative Society, including savings and credit services, agricultural initiatives, and educational programs. The study reveals the significance of these activities in supporting the economic well-being of the members and promoting a sense of community and solidarity among them.
