Thesis Abstract
Abstract
In the digital age, universities are facing the challenge of managing and disseminating an ever-increasing amount of information. This research project aims to develop an information policy tailored to the specific needs of a campus environment. The policy will address issues such as data privacy, security, accessibility, and integrity. By articulating clear guidelines and procedures for information management, the policy will help the campus community navigate the complexities of the information landscape and ensure that information resources are used effectively and ethically. Through a collaborative and iterative process involving stakeholders from various departments, the policy will be designed to be flexible and responsive to changing needs and technologies. Ultimately, the goal of this project is to create a framework that promotes a culture of responsible information use and supports the mission of the campus in teaching, research, and service.
