closer to the people and it’s vested with certain powers to exercise control over the affairs of the people. It’s aimed at facilitating development at the grassroots
However, the political class are the direct representative of the people mandated to govern on their behalf and in their interest. The civil servants are the engine room of the local government. They serve as partner to the political class in the developmental process in the local government
This research was meant to determine in its entirety the impacts of the political over lords on civil servants in Isoko North local government. The first chapter focuses on background of the
study, statement of the problem, research questions and objectives of the study. The second chapter was based on reviewed related literatures and theoretical framework.
