However, the proliferation of biometric data usage has also raised concerns about the security and privacy of such sensitive information. In the event of a biometric data breach, organizations face significant financial and reputational risks. This project seeks to comprehensively analyze the role of insurance in managing the risks associated with biometric data breaches and provide insights into the development of insurance products tailored for this emerging risk. <br></p><p> This project aims to provide valuable insights for insurers, businesses, and policymakers on the evolving landscape of biometric data security risks and the role of insurance in mitigating their financial impact. By addressing the ethical considerations and social implications of insuring biometric data breaches, this study aims to facilitate the responsible and resilient management of biometric data risks through insurance mechanisms.
