This thesis examines the impact of sustainable farming practices on rural household incomes, with a focus on enhancing economic opportunities and livelihoods in rural communities. Sustainable farming practices are increasingly recognized as essential for promoting environmental sustainability, economic development, and social well-being. This study explores how the adoption of sustainable farming practices can contribute to increasing rural household incomes and improving overall quality of life. The research is guided by a mixed-methods approach, combining quantitative analysis of household income data with qualitative investigation into the factors influencing the adoption of sustainable farming practices. Through survey questionnaires and in-depth interviews with rural households, farmers, and agricultural experts, this study aims to identify the key determinants of sustainable farming practices and their impact on household incomes. Chapter One provides an introduction to the research topic, presenting the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definitions of key terms.
