Abstract
This study investigates the impact of agricultural insurance schemes on risk management in rural communities. Using a mixed-methods approach, including quantitative analysis of insurance uptake and qualitative interviews with farmers, the research explores the effectiveness of insurance programs in mitigating risks related to crop failure, natural disasters, and market volatility. The study aims to assess the socio-economic implications of insurance uptake and identify opportunities for improving risk management strategies in rural agriculture.
