This thesis investigates the impact of sustainable agricultural practices on rural household income and food security. Sustainable agricultural practices have gained significant attention due to their potential to enhance food production while minimizing environmental degradation. The study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of sustainable agricultural practices in improving rural household income and food security in developing countries. A mixed-methods approach was employed, combining quantitative data analysis and qualitative interviews with rural households and agricultural experts. Chapter one provides an introduction to the research topic, discussing the background of the study, problem statement, objectives, limitations, scope, significance, structure of the thesis, and definition of key terms. Chapter two presents a comprehensive literature review on sustainable agricultural practices, rural household income, and food security, highlighting the current state of knowledge and identifying gaps in existing research.
