This thesis investigates the impact of sustainable farming practices on rural household income. Sustainable farming practices are increasingly being recognized as essential for ensuring the long-term viability of agriculture and improving the livelihoods of rural communities. By promoting environmentally friendly and socially responsible farming methods, sustainable agriculture aims to enhance productivity, reduce environmental degradation, and increase the resilience of rural households to economic and environmental shocks. This study seeks to assess the extent to which the adoption of sustainable farming practices influences rural household income and overall well-being. The research methodology employed in this study involves a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches. Surveys and interviews will be conducted with rural households practicing sustainable farming to gather data on their income levels, farming practices, and socio-economic conditions. Additionally, secondary data from relevant sources will be analyzed to provide a broader context for understanding the impact of sustainable farming practices on rural household income. The findings from this study are expected to shed light on the benefits and challenges associated with sustainable farming practices in rural areas. By examining the relationship between sustainable farming practices and household income, this research aims to provide valuable insights for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners working in the field of agriculture and rural development. Ultimately, the results of this study can inform the design of policies and programs that support the adoption of sustainable farming practices and contribute to the economic empowerment of rural households.
