This thesis explores the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on household income in rural communities. Sustainable agriculture is recognized as an essential approach to ensuring food security, reducing environmental degradation, and improving livelihoods, particularly in rural areas. This study aims to investigate how the adoption of sustainable agriculture practices influences household income in rural communities. The research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection methods. A comprehensive literature review is conducted to provide a theoretical framework for understanding sustainable agriculture practices and their impact on household income. Ten key areas are identified in the literature review, including the benefits of sustainable agriculture, challenges faced by rural communities, and existing research gaps in the field. The research methodology chapter outlines the design of the study, including the selection of study participants, data collection methods, and data analysis techniques. The study sample consists of households in rural communities that have adopted sustainable agriculture practices and those that have not. Data is collected through surveys, interviews, and focus group discussions to capture a comprehensive understanding of the research topic. The findings chapter presents the results of the study, highlighting the impact of sustainable agriculture practices on household income.
