This thesis explores the impact of mindfulness-based interventions on stress reduction among college students through a randomized controlled trial study. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of mindfulness practices in alleviating stress levels among college students, who often face high levels of stress due to academic pressures, social expectations, and personal challenges. The research methodology involves conducting a randomized controlled trial with a sample of college students randomly assigned to either a mindfulness intervention group or a control group. The mindfulness intervention group will participate in structured mindfulness practices such as meditation, breathing exercises, and mindful awareness training over a specified period, while the control group will receive no intervention. The study will include pre-test and post-test measures to assess stress levels, psychological well-being, and other relevant outcomes. Quantitative data analysis will be conducted to compare the effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions in reducing stress levels among college students.
