Climate change is a pressing global issue with far-reaching impacts on various aspects of the environment, including coastal erosion. Coastal regions are particularly vulnerable to the effects of climate change, such as rising sea levels, increased storm intensity, and changing precipitation patterns. This study aims to investigate the impact of climate change on coastal erosion in a vulnerable coastal region through a comprehensive case study approach. The research begins with an introduction that outlines the background of the study, defines the problem statement, sets the objectives, identifies the limitations and scope of the study, highlights the significance of the research, and provides an overview of the thesis structure. Chapter two presents a thorough literature review consisting of ten key items that explore existing knowledge on climate change, coastal erosion processes, vulnerability assessments, mitigation strategies, and case studies of similar coastal regions. This review serves as a foundation for the research methodology and data analysis that follows. Chapter three delves into the research methodology, detailing the research design, data collection methods, sampling techniques, data analysis procedures, and ethical considerations.
