The research methodology employed a mixed-methods approach, combining surveys and interviews to gather data from a sample of college students. The literature review provides a comprehensive analysis of existing research on the relationship between social media and mental health, highlighting both positive and negative effects identified in previous studies. Key themes explored in the literature review include the role of social media in shaping self-perception, social relationships, and emotional well-being among college students.
